My assessor has been a great support to me throughout my studies in my svq. I was apprehensive about starting studying again as it has been a while since I was at school but she took away any anxiety I had and reassured me that I had the knowledge to succeed. She has been available to help me whenever I’ve needed it, and has gone the extra mile in making sure the course work was assessable to me, as I am dyslexic and didn’t have a lot of confidence in myself to begin studying again. But she helped me see my potential. Even through this uncertain time in the COVID-19 crisis and we haven’t been to actually meet up in person which would be the norm, she has made sure and checked in regularly and stated she is available when I needed her. I am grateful for all the support and now I have almost completed my svq it has given me the motivation to apply for further study at university, which without her support to do my svq, I quite frankly wouldn’t have thought possible.
